Beautiful Machines

„I love machines. Both big and small. Complicated ones like the Eurofighter flight simulator or very careful ones, like the assembly machine that inserts valves into engine blocks almost tenderly. When I was 20, I photographed my first machine during my apprenticeship, a lathe, illuminated with blue and red light, which was innovative at the time. I no longer do that today, but my fascination for complex technology remains.
